Dr. Markus Moser, LL.M. (HKU)
Attorney
Dr. Markus Moser, LL.M. founded MOSER LEGAL in October 2015. His goal is to provide excellent, no-nonsense legal consultation.
After completing his studies – graduating as Mag. iur. in 2007 and as Dr. iur. with distinction in 2009 – Dr. Moser learned the practical side of his trade as a trainee with the leading attorneys in his fields of expertise.
His career has taken him around the world, from the Netherlands to the USA and China, and he has worked as a research assistant for Professor James Fry at the University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Moser’s comprehensive legal expertise is complemented by his commitment to reliability, speed and efficiency. He specializes in payment services law, real estate law and dispute resolution.
His clients include a wide variety of international concerns located in the USA and China, and small and medium-sized Austrian companies. He represents payment service providers, banks, property developers and public institutions as well as sportspeople, artists, politicians and private individuals.
Mag. Adelheid Moser, LL.M. (McGeorge)
Attorney
Mag. Adelheid Moser, LL.M. (McGeorge) is an attorney at MOSER LEGAL.
She studied at the universities of Salzburg (Mag. iur.) and Sacramento, USA, (LL.M.) and has worked for leading corporate law firms in Vienna, the USA and Hong Kong.
In addition to her legal training, Mag. Moser has several years of experience as the inhouse counsel of an international payment service provider. Besides payment services law, she specializes in the fields of real estate law, company law and corporate law. She corresponds in both German and English.
Mag. Johannes Igler
Associate
Mag. Johannes Igler completed his law degree at the University of Vienna in 2021 (Mag. iur.).
After his studies, he worked as an assistant in the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Vienna. He has authored several specialist articles in legal publications.
He also worked as a lawyer at Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH and at a large Viennese law firm.
Mag. Johannes Igler is fluent in German and English.
After completing his legal clerkship in the judicial district of the Higher Regional Court of Vienna, he joined MOSER LEGAL as an associate in June 2025.
Mag. Gabriel Paulus, MA, LL.M.
Associate
Gabriel Paulus, MA, LL.M., completed his studies in law in 2021 and political science in 2022 at the University of Vienna. In 2023, he completed an LL.M. at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
During his studies, he gained professional experience at law firms in Vienna and Brussels. He completed further internships in New York, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur, Kaunas, and Dhaka. He also worked as an assistant at the Institute for Commercial Law at the University of Vienna and was a volunteer in the European Law Students’ Association.
After completing his studies, he worked at two large law firms in Vienna. He is the author of several specialist articles in legal publications.
Gabriel Paulus, MA, LL.M., is fluent in German, English, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Portuguese, and has a basic knowledge of Turkish and Dutch.
He has been working as an associate at MOSER LEGAL since October 2025.
Mag. Vanessa Yijing Chen (陈宜璟), LL.B.
Associate
Mag. Vanessa Yijing Chen, LL.B., completed her studies in law and economics at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg in 2024.
During her studies, she gained professional experience in Austria and abroad, for example at the Austrian Foreign Trade Center in Hong Kong, at a bank, and at a law firm.
As part of her extracurricular activities, she worked for the European Law Students’ Association and as a student representative at the University of Salzburg.
Mag. Vanessa Yijing Chen, LL.B., is fluent in German and English and has a basic knowledge of Chinese and French.
After completing her court internship at the Vienna Higher Regional Court, she joined MOSER LEGAL as an associate in October 2025.
Thomas Hasenhüttl, LL.B.
Legal Assistant
Thomas Hasenhüttl, LL.B. completed his bachelor’s degree in business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in July 2025.
During his studies, he specialized in banking law and tax law.
Before joining MOSER LEGAL, he worked at the Foreign Trade Center Bangkok and the Embassy of Ghana in Vienna, among others.
He is fluent in German and English and has a good knowledge of Italian.
Thomas Hasenhüttl, LL.B. has been a legal associate at MOSER LEGAL since May 2025.
Laura Lang
Legal Assistant
Laura Lang is in the final stage of her law degree at the University of Vienna.
During her studies, she has specialized in property law.
Laura Lang has many years of experience in the administration and management of short-term let properties. While studying, she also worked in a company as anassistant to the managing board.
She is fluent in German and English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
Laura Lang has been working as a legal assistant at MOSER LEGAL since May 2025.
